ABOUT STRATWATCH
A real-time OSINT intelligence monitoring platform tracking geopolitical conflict, cyber threats, financial markets, space activity, and information warfare — all in one place. Core access is free. A PRO tier is coming for analysts who want more.
WHAT IS STRATWATCH

StratWatch is a real-time OSINT intelligence platform that aggregates and visualises open-source signals across the geopolitical, cyber, financial, and space domains. It is designed to give analysts, researchers, journalists, policy professionals, and curious citizens a single dashboard for monitoring the strategic environment — without logins or paywalls for core access.

Every module draws from publicly available data: open government advisories, financial market feeds, academic satellite catalogues, and publicly accessible threat intelligence sources. Nothing on StratWatch requires proprietary access or classified material.

StratWatch is a monitoring and awareness tool, not an intelligence service. It surfaces publicly available signals; it does not generate original intelligence or conduct investigations.

WHO IT IS FOR

StratWatch is built for anyone who wants a fast, high-signal view of the global strategic environment without wading through multiple disconnected sources.

Analysts and researchers who need a quick situational overview before diving deeper. Journalists and editors tracking breaking geopolitical or cyber events. Policy and defence professionals monitoring publicly available threat indicators. Finance and risk professionals watching geopolitical market signals. Students and educators in international relations, security studies, and finance. Curious citizens who want to understand the world beyond the headlines.

INTELLIGENCE DOMAINS

StratWatch covers six primary intelligence domains, each with dedicated dashboards and live data feeds:

THEATRE — Conflict & Military CYBER — Threat Intelligence MARKETS — Geopolitical Finance SPACE — Orbital & Launch Activity INFO WARFARE — Narrative Intelligence BRIEFINGS — Fused Intelligence Reports
OSINT-ONLY METHODOLOGY

OSINT — Open-Source Intelligence — refers to intelligence derived entirely from publicly available sources. StratWatch is strictly OSINT. Every data point comes from sources openly accessible on the internet or via public APIs.

StratWatch does not use proprietary intelligence feeds, classified government databases, commercial satellite imagery subscriptions, or any source that is not publicly available. It is not affiliated with any government, intelligence agency, or defence contractor.

The value of OSINT lies in aggregation, contextualisation, and speed — bringing together signals from many open sources in a structured, queryable format. StratWatch automates this aggregation so users can focus on analysis rather than collection.

DATA SOURCES & METHODOLOGY

StratWatch pulls from a curated set of open-source feeds, aggregated and normalised by serverless backend functions. Key source categories include:

CYBERCISA Known Exploited Vulnerabilities (KEV), CISA advisories RSS, ransomware.live aggregator, open threat intelligence feeds
MARKETSYahoo Finance (equities, futures, VIX), Stooq (global indices, FX), Frankfurter / ExchangeRate-API (FX pairs), FRED (Federal Reserve Economic Data)
THEATRELiveUAMap public embed, open-source conflict event RSS feeds, publicly reported military incident data
SPACECelestrak TLE catalogues, Space-Track public data, publicly reported launch manifests and mission updates
INFO WARFAREOpen-source narrative and disinformation tracking RSS feeds, public government communications monitoring
BRIEFINGSSynthesised from the above domain feeds; AI-assisted fusion of public signals into structured briefing formats

All data is fetched, normalised to a common schema, and cached via a serverless Postgres database. Source attribution links are included on all data items where available, enabling users to verify signals at origin.

DATA STATUS: LIVE, CACHED, DEGRADED, OFFLINE

Every module displays a real-time data status indicator reflecting the freshness and reliability of the data currently shown:

⬤ LIVE
Fetched from a live upstream source within the module's TTL window (5–15 min). Values reflect current conditions.
⬤ CACHED
Data from a recent successful fetch, served from the platform's database cache. A live refresh is in progress.
⚠ DEGRADED
Some data is live; other fields are seeded from reference values. An upstream source is unavailable or rate-limited.
✕ OFFLINE
No live or cached data available. All upstream sources failed. Reference fallback data may display for context.

When no live data is available, StratWatch displays reference fallback data clearly labelled as such. Fallback data is not real-time and should not be treated as current.

FOUNDER NOTE
CLAUDIA GILBERT
FOUNDER · STRATWATCH

StratWatch began as a personal project — I wanted a single dashboard that showed me what was happening across the strategic domains I cared about, without needing five different subscriptions or navigating paywalls to see basic open-source signals.

Core access to StratWatch is free, and that won't change. I believe intelligence awareness shouldn't be locked behind a paywall. Everything the platform shows you is already publicly available — StratWatch just makes it faster and easier to see.

That said, running and improving StratWatch has real costs — hosting, data infrastructure, and the time it takes to build properly. A PRO tier is coming for analysts and professionals who want advanced features beyond the core platform. If you're interested in being notified when PRO launches, use the Feedback button to let me know.

In the meantime, if StratWatch is useful to you and you'd like to support its development, contributions go directly to keeping the platform running. Every one genuinely makes a difference.
